I've observed that on most vehicles hitting "Auto" will always turn on the compressor by default.

I've seen this in many German and other Japanese cars too.

Yea my 08 coupe and 13 sedan do not blow in air from outside. Made sure a/c is off but set at 60 degress, top vents are open, and "fresh air" mode is set. I have to be driving 80mph+ to feel a little air from outside. My cars turn into an oven. Either my windowns need to be down at all time or a/c running at all time. anyone else have this issue? any suggestions?
