Replace your drive belt. I had mine explode in to a gazillion strands that got tangled up everywhere, it took me FOREVER to get it all out. Changing the belt is simple, but not fun if you just wait until it explodes. Just my $0.02.

You really should do all of it if the service interval calls for it. It's called PREVENTATIVE Maintenance for a reason. It PREVENTS future problems if you do it on time. Sure, being 2k miles late on some services won't be that big of a deal, but imo, it's better to play on the safe side.

Good luck.

None of those items are truly difficult to do yourself but require some mechanical ability and/or supervision if you don't know what you're doing.

If doing your own cabin air filter, pay close attention to how the panels fit together. It took me 3 tries during reassembly to get get everything how it was... I glanced at it but didn't pay really good attention. Next time will be easier.
If nothing else, get the belt and put it in the trunk (w/ the req'd tools) until you can get it on (if you're a DIY'r)
