LCD Info Panel Flickering

Has anyone experienced there LCD information panel on their speedometer to flicker and be dimmer? Mine seems to be slightly dimmer at the top left hand corner and then after a few minutes the backlighting will flicker look consistent. It would be a very tough things to replicate to the dealer as it only happens intermittently, and i'm still under warranty.

Would it be caused by the installation of a grounding kit causing this issue, I've recently acquired a Black Betty Grounding Kit. Which seems odd it would do this. The other idea is that one of the LED's for the backlight is dying.

Edit: I'll probably uninstall the grounding kit to see if that is the cause of the issue considering that it started happening after the kit was installed.

Same thing happened to mine and i have it fully stock so it might not be the grounding kit. It happened twice about 2 weeks ago to mine but then it just goes back to normal after a few minutes. Hasn't done it since then but next time i go in for service i'm gonna ask about it.

I'll definitely have to bring it in next time. I have a service due quite soon and should make mention of it.

I unplugged the ground wire cables from the negative terminal from the battery and the symptoms still remains. I may even go further and remove the kit completely before I bring it in just to cover my butt.

I notice mine is dim as well during the hot summer days. However when it's cooler it seems to be just fine.

I'm the exact opposite. We've had a hot summer and it was functioning normal and recently been introduced to some arctic air here in Alberta. After my vehicle warms up for about 20 mins it starts to flicker and the brightness is now consistent.

I too am having this but only from 3-4k on the tach. It flickers and makes me absolutely insane. I actually was at the dealer a few weeks ago and brought it up. There is no "fix" to apply to it. Infiniti will only replace the entire cluster to remedy the problem. They also then have to program the new cluster to match your old mileage.

My price at cost was through the roof. List was something around $700 plus the additional $100 flash fee.

For that kind of money, I'll dim the whole dash and try not to look at it.

Interesting, I take it you're out of warranty?

I sure am. I can get a new one at "cost" but I'll put a piece of tape over it before I spend that kinda money on something so trivial.

My LCD info panel is covered under warranty. It easy to spot as the top left corner was dim. However, the gauge cluster is on back order.
