If you want to go forced induction, im going to reccomend you dont try and repurpose your procharger, and just go with the kit from stillen. the way our engines are setup with dual Throttle bodies, its real complicated unless you change the intake manifold. Stillen makes a bolton kit for about $6500. Jtran studios here in houston could probably install and uprev tune it for you for another $1500 or so? since you are AT, i would reccomend a shift kit for the trans if you dont want to completely burn it up.

Thats not a bad idea Austin. My original kit was custom built it was actually a prototype that combinationmotorsports in nevada used to build their kits for the Impys when they where around. Its gonna take some serious R&D to get this customer kit built but its do-able or i might just sell the damn thing and save the trouble and get the stillen. I am in the Forney area 25 minutes east of dallas.

Curious to know if stillen offers this forum any discounts?

More like 2 grand for an install + uprev. Takes about 12-15 hours for a supercharger install, and 5-600 for a license + tune.

The "problem" with going forced induction isn't buying the kit or the installation of it. It's all the money needed to purchase all of the other supporting mods to make the most out of the kit. Kit+Exhaust+Injectors+Tranny upgrade+Install+Tune+Etc.= Hella monies. I looked into it a while back for grins and found that to really do it right I was looking at spending close to $15K for the job.... The net would have been like 550WHP but alas, after spending that kind of cash I could have bought a better car.
