I didn’t think it would be this soon, but the time has come for me to sell my 2008 Supercharged Infiniti G35 Journey HR Sport Sedan. With my wife and I expecting our first child in July and another project in the works, my focus has changed. While stationed in Hawaii I purchased this Infiniti brand new with plans of adding just an intake and exhaust. While it was quick with boltons, I still wanted more. While leaving Hawaii in 2011, I had the car sent to GTM for the build. GTM sent the car back to me at my new home in Texas. The car was a complete beast upon receiving it and gaining traction on the street was a chore until I added the Racelogic traction control system. Sam at GTM said my transmission may need a rebuild soon, so I had a local San Antonio shop perform an upgraded transmission build. After the transmission build, I immediately brought the car to JMS Motorsports and had them retune my car to optimize my built transmission. On a very conservative reliable focused tune, the car put down 420 wheel horsepower on the 91 map in 100 degree Texas weather and 438 wheel horsepower on the methanol map via the Dynojet. I am confident my tuner could push the car as it sits to 500 wheel horsepower, but 438 whp is plenty fast and reliable on the street. The GTM Supercharger fits the characteristic of the car very well because the smoothness is maintained only with much more power! Infiniti offered a Stillen Supercharger option for these cars from the dealership because they knew these engines were built more robust from the factory than the DE counterparts and were up to the task. However, the GTM Rotrex supercharger is superior in delivering power throughout the powerband. Several friends of mine have been shocked how fast this sedan is. It is extremely easy to drive fast in this car because it is very smooth and seamless. I have put 30K miles on the car since being supercharged, and the car has been perfectly reliable during 1000 mile road trips and in all types of weather conditions. The car is very meticulously taken care of with engine oil changes performed every 3000 miles with Castrol Edge 5W 30 fully synthetic. The modifications to the car include a GTM Stage 1.5 Supercharger kit, upgraded Bosch EV14 725cc injectors, HKS spark plugs, Walbro 255 fuel pump, built five speed auto transmission with Alto clutch packs and transgo valve body (which helps the car shift much faster than any manual would hope to), Aquamist methanol kit and gauge, Blitz RVIT monitoring system integrated into the car’s screen interface w/ remote (this system is no longer available for purchase), Prosport Evo digital boost gauge, Invidia Q300 rolled dual tip exhaust, GTM aluminum driveshaft, Optima Red Top battery, Brand new Xpel clear bra and mirrors, Digital Racelogic adjustable Traction Control system (same factory system used in Aston Martin’s), triple glossy black painted roof, 19 inch gun metal gray staggered Ace wheels with brand new Nitto Motivo’s on all four corners, Black chrome mesh lower grille, Infiniti Midnight Pearl sport grille, matte black headlight housings, Tanabe NF210 springs (1 inch drop) Carbon fiber engine cover, Uprev tune with 91,93, 93+meth, valet, theft mode and tuner cable. The Aquamist pump stopped working a few months ago, which was not a big deal because I very rarely used the methanol map. A new pump will cost $100, but I have not replaced it because I haven’t had the time since moving to Tennessee. I currently daily drive the car on a 91 Uprev tune while always using 93 octane. The car was built to be a reliable daily driven no nonsense super sports sedan that could leave Lexus ISF’s and newer M3’s in the dust. It has some slight imperfections such as very small nicks in the paint here and there and some slight wear in driver’s seat as expected for a 7 year old car. The title is clean with no accidents, and my asking price is $22,000, which is more than what was put into to the car alone. Thank you for looking.
