Trying to install switchback turns on my 10' sedan. There's 3 wires; green w black stipe, green w white stripe, and white w black stripe....which is neg and pos out of the 3????

Anyone know of double-side tape that is heat-resistant enough to secure load resistor?

Not trying to drill and bolt down in engine bay.

 

I used 3M dual lock on my G37 for my Triton control boxes up front and load resistors for the rear tail-as-turn module.

Previously on my TL I used just plain white Scotch brand double sided tape to mount my load resistors. I actually mounted it to the top of the frame of my car so if the double-sided tape would have failed the load resistor would have easily fell off due to gravity. Well the double-sided tape never failed and over 1 year later I went to go remove it and it was a bitch to remove.

It wasn't a special rated double-sided tape like VHB or Industrial strength. Just plain white double-sided tape.

put the resistor on the rear turn signals.. easier to mount it there.

 

I actually used electrical tape to hold down the resistors. Haven't had a prob since day 1

 

Have you done this? Do you know for sure they'll work for the front turn signals all the same?

Yes, but you need to look up what ohm resistor is correct if you are using LED on all four corners. I cannot recall off the top of my head, but I think its 4ohms. Look it up to be certain though.

If you are not running LED on all four corners, you need to go with the higher ohm resistor either up front or in the rear.
