Nope, too small of a backseat. Not worth it IMHO.

I actually considered buying one before I picked up the G because I was looking for a small crossover SUV, but the very cramped back seat and cargo area turned me off. The G's backseat in the Sedan is roomier and I ended up getting a '14 Subaru Forester XT as the crossover now. That thing has great backseat and cargo room!

Same here- no way. I don't like the looks of the EX and the backseat is tiny. There's a reason you don't see any EX's on the road!

It might be. Plus the C pillar intrudes upon you entering/exiting the rear seat. Although I don't think the G rear seat is tight. It's not huge by any stretch of the imagination and I'm not tall (5'9) but my kids have no issues behind me.

The back seat in that EX is crazy small, I could barely get in the car with the drivers seat in a good position.

According to Edmunds.com - rear seat leg room on the EX is 28.5" compared to 34.7" on the G Sedan. My wife's new Subaru Forester has 41.7" - yup Limo!

Imagine any 3 series before about 2007-9 (not sure exactly when the stretched it), every ford mustang ever built, civics/corollas/etc before about 2000, all Lexus IS's except the current generation, every camaro/firebird ever built, etc. etc.

The main reason the G took off is that it had a bigger back seat than the IS and 3 series. It wasn't until very recently that the other two caught up.
