eBay Grounding Kit
Anybody try one of these?

Anyone notice any changes with a grounding kit? I don't really get the concept even after I read the Stillen ground kit explaination. Isn't the battery is already ground to the body of the car? Why won't that be enough?

Na. You don't need that extra piece of metal for anything. Just an 8 gauge wire and connectors cost me about $15 if you want to follow the DIY it's easy.

Have a search but this mod is highly thought of, especially for the automatics.
Ditto. All the extra screws in this kit worry me though as extra pieces that may come loose and fly around in the engine bay. Will look for another premade kit without the central block piece

There is a guy on a few Facebook pages selling kits for $99. I went ahead and ordered this one though since it's less than half the price.

I don't understand why ppl dont just make their own??? Around $30-35 in parts and simple as **** to make....plus theres quite a few diy's w step by step instructions
I was looking into doing one myself, but the kit on eBay was $40 shipped. I figured the extra $5-$10 was worth the time it saved me to buy the supplies and make it. I know that sounds lazy, but I'm married with 2 kids and have only had 2 days off this month so time is valuable to me right now.

Well I just finished installing this grounding kit and am impressed! My car used to have a rough shift between 3rd and 4th in manual mode, but that is gone and all the other shift points are smoother and quicker. I ended up going off the diy thread with the wires instead of the directions with the aluminum block that came with the kit.
