Which one did you follow? I bookmarked three of them. This kit has all the right lengths to follow the DIY without using the block?

I went off the first link. I didn't always use the same bolts on the engine block because of lengths, but it still worked since the block is basically one big ground.

I like the copper wires with the silicone jacket on the ebay kit, but stay away from the anodized aluminum battery mount terminal block. Anodizing is bad for electrical conductivity and it seems they anodized right over where the wire terminals would screw into it. Plus its aluminum which means you're mixing aluminum and copper on top of the battery. Not a good idea. So far it seems the best way is to follow the diy and use the wires or make your own.

I didn't use the battery mount. I was able to tie in the wire to the actual ground cable that goes directly on the battery so I figured that would be the best route.

I have an 8awg kit I used fit awhile until I picked up a 4awg BB kit. Both worked pretty well but aesthetically the BB kit fits the direction I was going much better.
