I will just tell them i am selling it and want to give the buyer a pre purchase sheet. I wont tell them it is for purchasing a warranty at another dealer. Besides, they will charge an hour of labor anyways.

Took my G37 to my local Infiniti dealer today to do a pre buy car inspection which is what Courtney at Infiniti of Scottsdale asked for before continuing for the Infiniti Elite extended warranty. Damn dealer here in San Diego charged $140 for the inspection but with my 30K miles everything was a pass and nothing wrong with the car. Courtney at Infiniti of Scottsdale quoted me $2150 for 72 months and 82K miles extended warranty with $100 deductible per visit. My local Infiniti dealer here quoted me $3100 for 60 months and 60K warranty!!!! Today after my pre buy inspection was done I spoke to the finance manager about the $3100 quote for the extended warranty and then I presented her with Courtney's quote of $2150 for more miles and more years. She just went and didn't know what to say. Then she said well maybe it is not an Infiniti warranty. I told her that she sent me the Infiniti warranty brochure by email and that various members on the Infiniti forums from various states have dealt with Courtney and she is the real deal and sells the warranties cheaper than most dealers. Then she said, well when you are ready to buy come back and see me and we'll see how close I can get you to Courtney's price!!!! I was like whatever no thanks I will deal with Courtney!

Final update guys!!!!! Finalized the process of getting the Infiniti Elite extended warranty. In the end I got the 72 month and 82K mile extended warranty with $100 deductible for $2150 from Courtney at Infiniti of Scottsdale. The best price Kearny Mesa Infiniti gave me was $3100 for 60 months and 60K. I save about $1000 and got 1 more year and 22K more miles of warranty. I am so happy about this! Hope this helps you guys.

My first question here is, has anyone seen a drop-off in coverage or service when bringing into the dealership?

My warranty is about to run out 3 days.. I recently went to my dealer who gladly replaced a headlamp assembly and simultaneously performed the transmission reflash all at no cost to me. Can I expect that continued service under the extended warranty?

P.s. I may be noticing a noisy cat which concerns me, otherwise I'd fore go the warranty.

dosent the infiniti already have a 4 yr 60k basic warranty with it? Meaning you have another 2 years of coverage already covered on your vehicle?

Way too pricey. I just got a 2012 G37 with 26k miles, and the 7 year/100k mile extended warranty was $1789.

Keep in mind that when you go over 30K the price jumps a lot. Every 10K miles that you wait to buy the extended warranty the price increases.
