It's a 3-stage paint. Base coat (white), Top coat (pearl), and Clear coat. Over time and particularly with exposure to the sun, that pearlescent layer will change in subtle ways, which is what makes it so unique. It's also what makes it so much more expensive, and such a PITA to match.

Dude, you really need to relax. Take your loaner car on a road trip. Hit up some wineries. Clear your head.

Not quite sure how far another dealership might be but you're not obligated to attend just ONE dealership.

Bring it to another dealership. Let them know what's going on, create new friends (goes a long way), go to a shooting range and blow off some steam.

Good luck with everything.

OP, can you post pictures so we can see the extent of the damages? I think it will help us better assess the situation and provide you with more solutions

If requires anything more than a touch-up, I'd be really upset +1

Your anger is justified...... Just go about correcting the issue the right way. As stated above, getting nasty with the dealership probably won't help you any.

the GM of the dealership just called me and proposed this solution. Tell me what you think:

So he's going to pull hood and rear bumper from another Moonlight White G37 from the lot and replace it with the damage parts on my car. He says they'll make sure that it matches overall. He also mentioning about they'll work up some incentives add on as well.

What do you guys think?

Sounds like you got lucky. At last, something useful to do with all those G25's lingering on the lot.

See? This might work out in your favor. Pick one:
  • Rear deck spoiler
  • Front chin
  • Lighted door sill plates
  • LED Daytime Running Lights
  • Extended Warranty

I hope that everything goes smoothly and that there won't be any issues anymore. I just want my car back. I was only able to drive it for 2 weeks, the whole point of buy a car is to drive yet I am not driving it =/

Thanks for all the inputs guys!

That's a better solution than repainting. If you just took it without making a fuss as some suggested you'd be stuck with a brand new multi colored car. Now just make sure it's installed and adjusted correctly and there are no large or uneven gaps.

Good point, BB.

OMG, if he hasn't already, this guy is going to have a nervous breakdown.

OP, you might want to lease your next car, for your own peace of mind. So much drama, LOL.

Rear bumper required more than a touch up, it required a repaint, but they're replacing it with another G37 bumper.

Nice to hear the dealership is going to make it right, nice solution BTW, and lol at the G25 remark
Like the list Rochester put together, I'd take the front or rear spoiler. Maybe you could get the part and have another dealer put it on

of course dude! You don't buy a brand new car to get all these headaches and especially from a premium brand.

They didn't state what they will give extra, probably some free maintenance and if they're planning anything they'd of let me know already.
