I read all 5 pages 3 times, can you explain how you did the door handles? I am using Vvivid vinyl and having a hard time on the edges and trimming it to give it that flush look , if I leave too much extra I can't get it back together, if i cut it too short it looks like a bottle cap on the edges

@jscoggan, did you take the door handles off? are you talking about the front door handles or rear?
also the actual handle or key hole cover?

yes I removed the door handles, I have a coupe so only have to do two handles, but both the lock cover and the cover on the passenger side (which I put on the drivers side to cover the lock. I'm not sure if I'm just not heating the vinyl or enough, or if this vinyl I am working with is extra thick because doing small parts like that are a pain in the ***.

i think it may be the vinyl that you are working with as i used the 3M one and it was a breeze wrapping it.

i looked it up, the 3m vinyl is .2 mm thinner, not very much, but just may be enough to make the difference, I just wrapped the hood with the help of my wife, burned a hole in the vinyl on the first one, got it alright on the second try, yours turned out awesome though, I don't see how you did it all solo

Thats pretty hot! I'm liking that color of wrap. Congrats and keep up the great work. That chrome trim would look killer wrapped matte black or carbon fiber.

@warped ideas, funny thing, i was actually thinking that today, im gonna plastidip it first just to see how it looks, and if it flows well, then will wrap it, also planning on dipping the wheels black.

a little update, re did the front bumper, originally wanted to go with carbon fiber sides but now decided to go with matt silver for the whole bumper.
now all i have left is the 2 side rocker panels....

Good decision.

I'd love to see the details close up, but I have to say from these pictures here... Wow.

So now that you've done the whole car, what part was the hardest?
The bumper would seem to take most of the time but sometimes what seems simple can be much harder when you're actually working w/ the stuff. The bumper wrapped in one solid piece looks great, the other two-tone looked good but a bit tougher to pull off IMO.

BTW, was there any section that absolutely required two people or did you fly solo the whole time?

Car looks great and also running 10.5" on all four corners on an AWD is also breaking new ground. You're quite the pioneer I must say!
