@Dj1ofDet, i did not take the tail lights out, i removed the roof striping, door handles and antenna .
@socialconflicts, make sure you are in warm temperatures, too cold and the wrap will be extremely hard to work with and will tear very easily, lay the wrap, stretch it out as much as you can and lay flat, then start heating and squeegying,
once finished wrapping, go over the whole wrap with the heat gun again to activate the glue and create a good bond.

I am starting my own full wrap project this weekend and 1 of my questions is can I use a heat gun on low setting directly on taillights? I have a design in mind but I am concerned it would crack the plastic housing...

i think you should be fine as long as you dont keep it static in once place for a long time, i mean i have baked my lights before in the oven to open them.
Here is another stupid question: I am going to be using Vvivid brand vinyl. It says "dry application", bur using Primer and Sealer is recommended. However, would I still benefit from using RapidPrep and RapidTac? If so, I'd order those today. It basically says that RapidPrep degreases the surface and removes wax, etc. And RapidTac allows for wet install and easier sliding of vinyl on the surface. However, dry installed is recommended. What are your thoughts on that?
