Those hankooks are garbage in the snow. Had them on my 2008 G.

I have some cheap general Altimax Arctic winter tires (425 shipped for all 4) on some craigslist 17s for my winter setup.

Skip a 'good' all season as they will never match even the worst winter tire in winter performance, and save yourself the money. Get a good set of summer rubber for summer and buy some cheap winter tires for winter. You will see why so many of us recommend them as they are just significantly safer in winter weather. The difference they make is so significant that it is hard to explain until you try it. There is no reason a big *** semi truck was able to out stop you. The one thing that connects your car to the road (tires) weren't up to the task of winter driving.

Glad your car is back together and you were alright though.
