Why was a Sedan your choice?
I got the 2012 G37xS.
- More practical. I hate having to move my seat up and down to let people in and out as I have People in my car often.
- Since this is going to be my only car I need it to be an all- around type car. Carrying
people, groceries, books, bags and things like that. Coupes in my opinion are second cars.
- I like to go fishing and a coupe wouldn't be able to fit my rods.
- I live in NE and it snows a lot and for me a sedan is much easier to drive in snow then a coupe.

I drove around in a 5-Speed MR2 Spyder for about 9 years and used it as my daily driver. It was very good on gas but extremely impractical in terms of space. Grocery shopping was a pain and the "trunk" could only fit a spare tire. I pretty much could only fit my backpack as I commuted to and from school.
Now I own a 7AT sedan and it is a breath of fresh air. Groceries are no longer an issue, and it is nice to be able to drive my entire family around when they fly into town. My only regret is I should have gotten a 6MT as I really miss the driving experience. But then I get stuck in heavy traffic and remember why I convinced myself to get the auto...
But like many have already stated, the main deciding factor is that I plan on owning my car for as long as possible. Therefore, a sedan offers exactly what I need in terms of how my life will probably shape up.

After 153 posts hasn’t the original question been answered? Or is this just another laborious “sedan versus coupe” thread, a boon to post ****** of course, that has devolved into a waste of space.

Please crawl back under.

But again, you seem quite obsessed with your hatred for me. Your reasons for disliking an old person that much must run deep and is none of my business, but perhaps to keep your sanity you may want to take your own advice given in an earlier post in this thread:
Or... You could simply ignore the thread.
Nope, wrong again, Chekov. I've posted on-topic comments here, and the ones that weren't were in defense of this thread against your whiny nonsense. In that context, here's another on-topic response:
One of the reasons I chose the Sedan 6MT was because of its rarity. And that's not something most people outside the INFINITI community would know, which makes it personal. Something just for me.
And Chekov, not for nothing, but accusing a 50 year old of ageism is pretty lame, particularly when unprovoked. There's no obsession of hatred for you; that's just narcissistic BS on your part. On the contrary, I routinely forget you even exist, until you start whoring threads in the Sedan forum. And then I pay attention... but only enough to make you go away.

I had a 35 coupe and loved it but it was too small for me. I'm a big guy and need my space plus I always had an idea of how I wanted to mod a sedan so the choice was easy. I had a G35xS and now I have a G37S 6MT and wouldn't get anything else.
Prior to reacting to Mr Cherkof you must first acknowledge his constant neediness for attention. His responses may be marginally amusing at first but they're actually pretty sad when you consider the circumstances. Didn't realize why he even bothers until I realized how much he must cherish creating a little blip of internet buzz.

Roger that!
