UGH! Just polished the G and it's snowing tomorrow
I mentioned to my wife that our next property (if we ever pay the current one off) will have a little land and a nice shop in the back. Maybe in my retirement.... In 30 years
Cars will fly by then I predict.

OT for this thread but a lift is much more attainable than most folks think. I've had one for 10 years now and prices have dropped and the design and options has improved significantly
A lot of folks are unfamiliar with high lift door kits and specialty openers like jackshaft operators. I bet most folks can convert their garage to a lift friendly shrine for under $3000.
lift delivered to home $2000
lift install DIY $0
Fancy Garage door opener installed $500
High lift kit installed $500
Now $3000 isn't "cheap" by any means but what it produces is a game changer.
Most are still constrained by ceiling height though but you'd be surprised what you can do with 10' or even 9'. I've seen folks get creative with height constraints with roof rafter modifications or ceiling modifications depending what's above the garage ceiling. One time I built a garage that had height restrictions due to local codes and it had a gambrel roof and a hole in the ceiling for the car to lift up through the ceiling to the storage area above. We moved - I miss that garage....
Back to polishing - on a lift it's way easier on your back and arms if you bring the car up to chest height and stand up while polishing.
