Honestly, the whole point of the twin loop design is to create a unique sound, because the very concept seems kind of silly, and it looks rather silly.
You think it looks silly? Bahhhhh. It doesn't look much different than a regular canister when installed.
Also here's a question for you guys. Do you think if I ordered an OEM spoiler in black obsidian, it would look bad on my car? Because the windows are tinted and I have black vinyl trim on the windows. I think I would like an OEM black / CF spoiler better than one that matches my car's color.
The twin loops look fine IMO, paint the cans black and it would virtually unnoticeable but I don't think it bothers you. It's no go for me on the black spoiler, body color or leave it alone. I've been close to hitting buy on a moonlight OEM spoiler myself, but from certain angles(mainly top) I don't like how flat it is. It doesn't match the cars lines all that much, problem is I don't like any of the aftermarket ones either. All are too pointy or too large with the exception of the Stillen spoiler.
DUDE, I know exactly what you mean! CERTAIN ANGLES, it's just too flat like a pancake, lol. I tried ordering an ebay lip spoiler and it didn't fit very well so I got rid of it. So there's not many choices.
Exactly lol but that chrome strip is just soo yuck. This is the Stillen one I'm leaning towards, it'll require paint putting it a little above the OEM spoiler in terms of cost:
My main hold ups are paint matching and I think the shape looks best with the pre-2010 rear bumper rather than our "longer" looking 2010+. Same goes for the diffusers.
I think the OEM spoiler is OK. Not great, but better than not having one.
That said, every pic I've ever seen of the sedan without the spoiler, where the little chrome strip is painted body color... that actually looks fantastic. Think about it as an option, and an inexpensive one too. But not black.
And yeah, I think the twin loop is silly, even though you get props for doing something creative. It's not personal, it's just a muffler.
Suspension Subframe Crossmember (Front) Part Number: 544B2-EG300
g37x AWD Sedans have a front crossmember that rots out quick. currently they're nearly impossible to get from the dealer. does anyone have interest in purchasing custom fabricated aftermarket replacements? may work with fabricator to develop part. would like to know if there's a market first. right now im riding without one
I'm sure it's fun to drive, and I love that it's available with a manual transmission, but it looks like it fell from the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down.
