I discovered the Velocity Channel last year... some really good shows, many of them with muscle car bias. Too many of them, IMO. Wish they had more shows that reviewed cars, instead of trying to play up the personalities of annoying shop monkeys, but hey, I'm not in charge of content.

7:30 AM every Saturday, tune into Everyday Driver. Or just go to youtube and watch their videos. Love these guys!

Not a car part, but one that will be used for installing car parts: Snap-On 1/2" drive 80 tooth standard handle ratchet

Not waiting on parts, but waiting for time/warm weather (which never seem to coincide).

Brake rotors / pads
Belt / tensioner / idler pulleys
Spark plugs

Waiting on only a couple of things.

- Set of Work CR2P wheels in full bronze
- March 19 to roll through so I can drop my car off for a wrap

I've got a Takeda intake in the garage I was going to install before seeing that M370 manifold in the classifieds (and a Cusco bar). I'm taking a drive to pick it up Friday, then it'll go on with the Takeda, cusco bar, then a tune if the mid-March bonus comes through. I just ordered a new serpentine belt also. I figured I might as well throw it on when I have the intakes off and have created some space. I've never done the belt before, so it's got about 70k on it.

M370, takeda intake and a tune...

I'm still planning on an EcuTek tune in May. It gets harder to rationalize the cost as the calendar closes in, but it's still on the table and I'm still planning on it.

So did the seller break the set for you?

He did. I'd literally just got a Takeda 3 days prior from another member, and he said I was the only offer at the time that was willing to drive up and save him the hassle of shipping. It seems a bit of a bidding war broke out, and that ended up being a deciding factor.

Also, after watching a video on changing the belt, it doesn't look like having the intakes gone really gets me anything in the way of space, so I'll do it at my next oil change (some members say access from below is easier).

I agree with you about the price of the tune. I'm also looking EcuTek and can't help but think about a dozen other things I could do for the money. I have HFCs and Invidia catback, but still haven't done sways, coils, and my bumper REALLY needs a respray. I was going to do sways with (a fraction of) that intake manifold money, but those don't come up for sale very often, so I felt like I had to jump on it, especially with the tune upcoming. I'd like to be done with "go faster" mods before that.

Over six years now going back and forth on the intake manifold, and I ended up deciding to forgo that mod, which is a decision that kind of gets locked in when I tune without it. I'm not going to tune again, and I'm not going to get all wonky with remote-tuning.

With that said, I hope you have success and give me regrets.

Thanks! I'd been through the same thought process over the last 2 years and decided to just do the tune so I'd quit looking into some of the more minimal HP:$ stuff like headers and manifolds. I was checking the classifieds a few times a day for used sways when the M370 came up, and the rest is just about a lack of willpower. FWIW, you're making all of us X owners jealous with your gears.
