bought some new 6500k HID bulbs and matching fogs/parking lights but came down with trigger finger in my bird finger on my left hand and would have to install them with one hand. still will probably do it tonight.

G37 Sedan *Chat Thread*

It's just a crappy cell phone shot, but here's my G with the gloss black fog rings I picked up from Rochester. I think my exterior is done... maybe.

looks so good!
I really really want to do the 2010 front end conversion, but then there is nowhere for my adaptive cruise module to go

Hey lobuzz311, I'm gratified to know you're digging the rings.

Looking at that picture... have you considered removing the Fuji and painting the inside (and sides?) gloss black, to match the grille? It's looking flat-black in this picture.

Good eye J, the fujis are flat black in there, not the easiest thing to paint as far as masking, but TannerG seemed to pull it off so

Nice look lobuzz, really pulls that front end together to perfection, and nice that John found a good home for those rings

I think he means the plastic bit around the fuji, not the fuji itself ^
In which case that would be easy, remove the fuji, paint the plastic thing and glue it back on.

I mean the recessed area inside the center of the emblem, and the V on the underside. The sides, too, if they aren't already painted.

It's certainly an easy enough project to do. Wouldn't bother having a shop paint that.

If you're talking about the radar portion of the adaptive cruise control the 2010+ have it, but not sure if it's a different shape or if it would require much to change out.

The module looks like it's the same but it looks like it's in a different location. It's hard to tell though.. it might be exactly the same.

The other problem is AFS. Apparently the '10 doesn't have it? So if i change the lights there would be errors on the dash

good deal.

i've wanted some of the oem ones since i first saw them, but seeing as how yours look just as good if not better and are half the price i think i'll go with yours.

think i'm going to pick up some bluebat rear gtr overlays at that time too.

Pretty much why i made them. the OE ones are like $300 + and the actual lighted portion is so tiny, it's pretty pointless.
