I hesitated whether or not to opine on your latest mod, Sean. Then I figured, WTH. If I can't share an honest opinion, then what's the point, right? Anyway... don't hate me, but I'm not feeling the bronze. Between the metallic red, the gloss yellow, and now metallic bronze, there are too many colors. At this point, the bright gloss yellow calipers are out of place. In any event, I much preferred gun-metal on those rims.

I suspect this is one of those things that are better appreciated up close and out of context. If you were to line up all those rims on your dining room table for instance ( ), I bet it would be all kinds of awesome.

Er... fitment looks spot on. So there's that.

When you accumulate some more years it may be as low as $300/6 months or less.

No not all. I welcome yours and others opinions very much. It's how I got this far with my G. It surely doesn't bruise my ego....much. If that were the case I wouldn't post pics on a public forum.

Perhaps they would be better appreciated in person. i like them very much today. But it doesn't have to be forever.

And heck, I got fitment going for me, which is nice.

Something tells me that sometime later this year or the next you're going to rationalize spending $5K on a set of amazing, two-piece, forged wheels. And then a year later, a whole new car.

Just a guess.

Love the bronze (or is it gold?) on red, but I agree with Rochester on the yellow calipers sticking out now. Still looks good though!

Sean
I have to agree with John on this one as well. I do this its too many colors fighting with one another for attention. Even with the yellow out of the picture I'm not entirely sold on the bronze wheels, but again up close and personally could be a different story.

I'm still tossing around ideas on what to PC my wheels come spring time. Not sure if I want to keep the same gun metal color.

I personally love the way your G looks as if right now. Very aggressive.

I agree with this sentiment. I love the boldness of your car, Vivid. I love the sunken treasure treatment. I don't love the two together. It detracts somehow. However, as soon as I saw your rims I thought, "Those would look perfect with the Blue Slate". So, err, $500 shipped to San Antone?

FWIW, I really like your current color on the VR. But, obviously, I'm no arbiter of good taste....LOL

You'll be happy to hear it was done locally. Bmore Kreative Custom Coating in Halethorpe.

Bmore Kreative Custom Coatings - Home

Got a FB page too.

They're legit. Even washed my car...though, as you can see, he didn't dress my tires...

Tell 'em Sean sent ya. LOL. (Actually, better not, he might charge you extra )

Aw, you poor guy. If it's any consolation, I feel like crap reading these comments. I could have just written "sick wheels bro". Then again, if I ever actually say those three words out loud, somebody just shoot me in the head.

It's really just the yellow calipers and the chrome trim. I'm sure if you switch those up and black out the chrome trim, it will look much better.

As for me, I'm still on the hunt and stuck with the choice of getting OEM 19's (haven't decided which ones) or going the aftermarket route. It's like I want my car to look aftermarket but not really? I'm scared about making a big purchase now and regretting it later even though I'm sure that's just part of the process. I just can't seem to justify spending more than $2,000 on wheels + tires. That money could go towards something else, such as paying my car off. In due time.

Oh, please. I know you're genuine. And I'm not that thin skinned. It's part of the fun of the hobby.

But, gosh, I totally agree!!! If I had a $ for every time a boy (and they're all boys - never girls) said 'sick G sir', I'd be driving a McLaren. I could take solace in the fact that i'm triple the age of most of them...but, then again, no...
