Where I live, you see none. Even as the car gets older and more approachable by the younger modding crowd, you see none.
Just this one old, suburban dad with a modded MW 6MT. Very unlikely match for the car.
Yes, even I get some strange looks as a 35 year old white man in a modded sedan (with both hands on the wheels focusing on the road as if he's in a F1 race).
I can definitely see how you would draw attention being 50 John. My hats off to you and rock on because it just shows this passion never leaves us, no matter what the age.

Todd, You should see the looks my wife gets when she gets out of the G at the store etc being 50+ from the Import/slammed crowd, it's priceless.

51 LOL
Sometimes I get double-takes, but that's almost always just dudes who first notice the car. Women, on the other hand, they don't notice the car or me. We're both stealth as far as that's concerned. Well, maybe not so much anymore with this full FI setup.
Nice turnout Tony, way to represent the 4DSC properly
Bet you drew a nice crowd just firing up the beast!
Apparently there are more people that know about me or my build than I thought. I did give quite a few rides to people who were from surrounding areas and traveled hours to get to the meet. Thank goodness I didn't have the baby seats in and was able to take 3 at a time!

Oops, I totally forgot to tell you about the meet! There were a good number of sedans, I took the video early on but there were more that came which I didn't get on the GoPro. After the initial walk through I went inside to avoid the hot sun.

Looks great! Hope you didn't get in too much trouble because of me extending your departure!
It's been real guys. Just signed papers on a brand new Lexus GS350 F-Sport today. This was still one of the best forums I've been apart of, the Lexus one doesn't even come close. I'll still lurk around from time to time.
Congrats man. Not really a fan of Lexus but they sure do have a unique exterior and that interior is pretty classy. Enjoy.
Ditto. Not a fan, but quite a luxurious car... no denying that.
Didn't you sell your G in order to purchase a house? And isn't the GS350 F-Sport a $60K car? Reading these reviews, that seems about $15K over-priced. How strange. Kirk, you are an odd guy indeed. One of the nicest guys I've ever met... don't misunderstand. Just can't relate to the huge decisions you seem to make all at once.

That's pretty odd, didn't you just say you were getting a sedan again? congrats anyway I have to agree with what John said

MSRP was $58,500 but with my discounts for working for Toyota Manufacturing my monthly payments ended up being close to what I would pay for a used G. I know the exterior isn't the prettiest, especially compared to a G37S that's "OEM +" as Connor would say. But if you do the OEM + mod on a GS it looks quite good. Check the attached picture, that's what I'm going for.
