Kind of like ordering something from Fast Intentions after Xmas, then waiting 10 to 12 weeks for delivery...

Yeah except I'll have them in my possession and they'll be teasing me more than anything.

Are you installing an electronically controlled exhaust cut-out right after your cats?

Your mechanic must love you, man.

Yeah, srs. Swing and a miss, it seems. But come one... like you've never thought about installing a cut-out.

You know why it broke? I suspect it's because you don't have the OEM support bar anymore, connecting the cats to the frame. And I suspect the ARK Grip is a heavier set of pipes than OEM.

When my FI catback gets installed (March/April), my mechanic is planning on cutting the hangers off the original cats (which are in my attic), and custom welding them to the FI RHFCs. We've talked about it a number of times since the cats were installed, and based on seeing your situation, it feels imperative now.

This guy right here:

Yes, I know that now.

I had the muffler shop install some supporting hangers to prevent it from happening again, but still after the "fix", the exhaust has drone and the perfect sound was lost. I still emailed FI, to see if they can help me with something.

If everything goes bad, maybe I will switch to ART pipes

EDIT: maybe even LTH?

Holy chit, now I'm worried that this may happen to me. I always thought that them hanging by the mufflers and headers was too much weight and this proves it. WTF Fast intentions.

Yeah, I'm unhappy, too.

The plan was to approach this in March with the cat-back install. But now I'm thinking I should get this done ASAP.

I was thinking if there was a mistake on the install, so I looked for pics and videos on installs. Found out that there is no attachment for the OEM bracket on the FI.

The Berks do have them though. Watch at 7:20

Hopefully, many people can learn from my experience.

By the way, the drive to the muffler shop was pretty embarrassing. People on the way looking at me and shaking their heads with the "omg you killed that beautiful car face". It was extremely loud and ugly, plus the car felt like it had 50 TQ.The 38% tint didn't help me hide that much lol.

Damn... sorry to hear that Alfredo... Looks like I won't be getting FI RHFCs then. Glad I got my berks for that matter...

Hey John or anyone with a 6MT sedan preferably 2012-2013 ( I guess) can you tell me if your steering wheel locks up after you shut the car off and turn it to a certain point, or not at all?

Alfredo, sorry to hear as well.

Do you know anyone else who had this issue? This is the first time I have seen this.
