I got some switchbacks from eBay. ChinkyChoy and I am really tripped out - it seems like they are blinking white instead of amber. Maybe because we are so used to seeing them always on in amber.

Oh man you have no idea! I love it totally! the way the shifts are now is just simply amazing. I was lucky enough that Lance got them not long after I was asking him about them and I got one of the last 4 of the last batch, I'm assuming you got yours from him as well?

Do yourself a favor and don't get switchbacks from ebay please... do something once but with the top quality provided by VLEDS.com and get the Triton V3 switchbacks either 5000k or 6000k with their own built in resistor and the unbelievable light output rating that nothing beats them at any point! they just came out with even brighter upgraded ones I guess which I have ordered and received today, but they're not switchbacks, they're just amber LEDs for the next project that happens on next saturday

^ I actually got it from somewhere else because (surprisingly) my PMs to Lance never got responded to. Luckily where I got them from had some in stock.

As I already installed the eBay ones, I guess I will just wait until they die out to replace them. Thanks for the tip though, if I ultimately decide that I don't like them I will do as you have suggested.

I must not have been following your plans... MXP Exhaust? I'm not familiar with MXP. However, those tips are gorgeous. Worth the trip tomorrow morning to see them.

The turtle is cute, I suppose. But there's busy lettering all over that ball. In the space of about one square inch, it actually says "Tommy Kaira" twice. I've seen this on Choman's car. The heft was good, but overall it didn't look right and it didn't feel right.

I don't get it. Different drummers.

Mike, how was removal? Kevin's was easy, mine was a total b1tch.

I was looking at the V3s but I already bought switchbacks from DD, just haven't installed them yet. You think there's a significant diffence between the two? The resistors are part of what has me stalling plus I'm thinking to upgrade to an amber LED in the brake lights.

You're moving quick Mike, definitely outpacing me now!

Yeah MXP Exhaust, I love it and the fact that is not common on sedans like FI is among pretty much every other G owner plus I got a great deal on it and now I really do love the muffler cans and the tips are just beautiful and now it looks like the tips and diffuser were just made for each other.

Well, John we all have learned so far that you like to be a little different and have your own opinion about things, which is perfectly fine, but after I drove Kevin's car with that shift **** I knew I had to get it and snatched this one up at the very last chance I got and I love it. Definitely feels right and looks right too to me.

The removal , well... we had to use Channel lock it wouldn't let go, as much as I wanted to keep the OEM shift **** undamaged... it wasn't possible.. it's not as bad as yours, but you'll see it tomorrow John, I have it in my car.

Honestly Chris, there is a huge difference between any possibly "brightest" LEDs out there compared to the V3s... check some videos out or do some research. My friend was doing a custom project and he showed me how bright the V3 switchbacks are, they were crazy BRIGHT, Yes B-R-I-G-H-T ! I was blinded for few minutes and couldn't see anything.

Well these few weeks I guess I kind of picked up the pace, the mod bug got really into me

That was exactly one of the big reasons why I decided to go for this exhaust, as I like to be different and have things done in my taste and Kirk encouraged me to get it for that same exact reason as well, Thank you Kirk, you haven't failed me

Yes Brad, the TK **** is **** literally

Initially I thought the driver's side tip was a bit off but it might've have been me being tired, after long day and it was dark, so the light was really getting lost in between the diffuser and the tip, anyways we did adjust it a little and it looks like they are aligned well, love the tips totally, brings back the OEM exhaust look and I like it along with the whole car's OEM yet modded clean fresh look, but back then I didn't like the OEM exhaust's tips , weird

finish is great, I love how the mufflers look, first thing my buddy admitted to me after I met up with him last night, was him admitting that the mufflers now look awesome not like the Invidia mufflers used to look but I wasn't really bothered by it but I know what people were talking about in regards to mufflers ( yes I'm talking to you John )

Sound? I love it, can't describe it exactly but it's definitely throatier and deeper and definitely turns heads all around the neighborhood when I drive by but it's still in the "burn in" period so I'm sure it's going to change a bit and perhaps deepen even more. Once it burns in I'll have to see if my issue with heatshield still exists.. if it does I'll have to do something about the heatshield as it rattles against the Y pipe when starting the car or at very low RPM-band.

Oh and I love the torque improvement... the car picks up so much faster at lower RPM band, huge difference even my passenger could tell a huge difference coming from true dual exhaust that is rather good for TT or SC cars but not N/A.

That my friend is Y-pipe back , it utilizes OEM Y pipe connected to the MXP Y pipe so it's a direct fit for AWD and RWD I believe.

Looks great Mike, I like the oval tips. Not to say I don't like my FI, but that looks really nice. Look forward to hearing it. I need to touch base with Alex but right now I'm thinking I'll be in the NYC area in December. Would like to go in November but I'll be in Miami and may need to go to Atlanta and Austin too. I'll keep you posted though.

Ive looked at several videos and like the V3s, wasn't sure if you actually had a set or not.

Exactly. I'm liking what there is to see of the tips. Some close-up shots would be nice, if you can, Mike.

I wonder where they source those tips?

I love the look of my FI tips as it really makes the somewhat vanilla sedan rear look more aggressive.
