Speaking of some more daylight pictures... don't mind the front wheel gap I'm parked on a slope with my emergency brake on...

Here it is.

Now looking at these two last pictures makes me realize how much I need that front sport lip on there ASAP !!!

Looks good Mike! I really like those rims on your G. It look like a great color combo with the wheels and the color of your G. Do you have any plans to paint the calipers?

I've been back and forth on getting the front lip got my G, I need to just go ahead and get it.

Thank You Kirk! I'm really happy with how it came out and flows really nice together with body color. Yes I do have plans to paint the calipers but that will be later on, no rush, and as much as I want to get coilovers and drop it I need to slow down with any unnecessary expenses towards my car for sometime now. Back to calipers, I've had lambo orange on my mind for the calipers as an accent color to nicely contrast the graphite and also match the lambo orange eye lid (or whatever they call it) when I get my headlights done eventually too

^^ That's actually the color I was going to suggest for Mike. Lol. I want to get mine done but I can't decide on a color, it won't be for a while anyway.

Those yellow Akebonos really do have a nice pop w/ the white, sounds like you're getting close John. I also like the burnt copper on white, both look proper IMO.

As much as I've been on-again/off-again with painting the calipers, with varying levels of interest, seeing Tony's calipers done up in this Yellow-Metallic color from Acura (Rio Yellow Pearl), is the first time I had that WANT-IT! feeling about caliper painting. It really struck a chord with me. You know, when you point at something and scream, "That's IT!!" (LOL) Very much like the first time I saw my front grille custom painted the way I ended up doing.

Just a few minutes ago, I reached out to a local shop that claims (interweb) to specialize in caliper painting. We'll see where that goes. I'm in no rush. Heck, I waited a long, long time before pursuing the front grille, IIRC.

Here's a close-up, cudos to tonyHTX.

^ Glad I was able to provide some inspiration to your caliper color decision! You should also reach out to JP, I think he does core exchanges now too.

Meh.. Chris mentioned lambo yellow to me as well for calipers, but somehow I can't feel any sort of yellow against my graphite shadow, I still think lambo orange would look better as an accent color on my graphite shadow, but unless someone proves me wrong... Indeed yellow or copper looks good on moonlight white but not necessarily on graphite shadow, or copper might actually look good considering gray GTRs look good with those haha

I agree. Yellow doesn't sit well with me on Graphite Shadow as Copper would. But for MW... Wow!

Core exchanges? Meaning what... you buy painted calipers from him, then send him your old ones for refund?

I wonder what the total end-cost for that kind of arrangement would be? Certainly JP is a master at this, there's no denying that.

Hmm sounds a lot more convenient if he's doing core exchanges now, wish he did the same with headlights

*I think* as the key words - my memory could be wrong, but I could have sworn I saw something on FB about it. I know he wasn't doing core exchanges when I got mine painted last year though.
