I'm staying with stock cats. Having replaced or removed catalytic converters in the past, I don't want to deal with the hassle every year when annual inspection rolls around. I like the sound clips that I've heard. At almost 40, I don't want an obnoxious sounding car that sets off car alarms in the work parking lot

And the exhaust definitely isn't going to be here this week. Nobody has them in stock. 2-3 weeks. Oh well.

I was kinda excited to get some new toys after selling my Firebird, but both my goodies are on back order. Wifey wasted no time getting new handcrafted coffee tables and a dyson vacuum cleaner though

I guess the horror stories of marriage ARE true, huh.
Vacuums and coffee tables over car parts? Blasphemy.

I'm getting my car part, and a little something else. Neither of my new toys are in stock though, so I have to wait. Meanwhile she gets the rest of her goodies today.

Technically "we" are getting a fence too

I'm 50, and that's exactly what I want.

No wait, let me clarify. I want it loud, but tasty. Which is why Step-1 was an intake, and Step-2 was RHFC. Step-3 will be the catback. After which... profit.

I was going to buy that from "Kevalteam", but he told me that they wouldn't fit our sedan.
Keep us posted on your new ride , alignment and if the new cambers are needed with lower springs.
Thanks.

Nothing wrong with that

I just want to be careful and not go too loud. If I do, wifey won't want to go anywhere in my var, and that means ill be stuck piloting the mommy-mobile every where we go. And while I dont mind driving her suv for long trips, a manual sports sedan is far more enjoyable

I have an STI in my garage with aftermarket exhaust so I have some stiff competition concerning setting off alarms in the garage. I guess Ark it is, huh?

That is exactly what I do in parking lots or garages. I like to here the quick little Chirp Chirps as I roll bye. My Harley is a different story. That makes the alarms go off everytime!

I'm starting to think I'm not loud enough...

Just got the car back from the dealer, differential leak fixed by installing new subframe. Broke the exhaust bracket and was going to try and charge me for a new since I have the FI but I convinced them to just get a new one on. Luckily the tech is a friend of a friend so he was happy to stay. He's also going to be calling Lance for a set of cats it looks like.

They also swapped out the cup holder lid. They told me mine was from a Maxima which is why it didn't have the chrome strip on it? I dunno but fixed now. They refused to believe that I haven't tuned the car. She definitely pulls harder than the Q50 but I guess it's a pretty significant difference once the cats go on. I know it felt like it at first but now it's the new normal.

Rochester, I'm taking a chance and booked some shop time on
Friday. I am going trust in the shipping gods to get me the rest of my parts on time. I just need to get brake fluid. I've seen a few threads on brakes and fluid, you guys run OEM or something different?

Man, I would love that drl set. Pity, it is too hard to install. Checked with my local dealer, they want 600 for installation.
