G37 Sedan

Quick, probably stupid, question about sedan cup holder cover panel....

I had a 2010 G37x with wood trim and there was no chrome trim on the cup holder, it seems to have been added sometime over the past 2 years because my new 2013 G37x with wood trim has it. That's one of the only changes I have noticed to the interior besides the little seat symbols on the memory seat buttons, the 2010 didn't have them either just the numbers.

Did a little cruising around on Cars.com, and it looks to me like all the 2012's and 2013's have the chrome trim, and the 2011's and earlier don't.
