I took a 700 mile r/t from here to Pittsburgh. I averaged 28 mpg on the trip. The trick is to feather it at 65, which I did anyway 'cause of the smokeys. Ratchet the pedal up to 80 and gas mileage drops fast.

 

I wanted a manual fxt bad. It pains me to admit after looking long and hard and not coming up with what I wanted, the g was my second choice. I only think twice when I see one, or read about how much people like their subbie, but going with the auto was the smart choice considering what I'm building in the garage.
