Well... that didn't take long

Unbelievable. I've only had this car for about 2 weeks and someone has already hit me in a parking lot. We catered some food for work and the delivery driver backed into my car as he was leaving. You can't see it very well in this picture but it's crushed in pretty good, it'll need a new bumper.

I'm putting the claim through their insurance and taking it to Infiniti to get it fixed, ruined my day but at least the guy came in and admitted to hitting the car and gave me all his info.

Shame that you didn't even make it to your first oil change, probably on your first tank of gas

At least the guy who hit you was decent enough to tell you about it and leave information. Bumper covers are easy to replace and a good paint guy can make things right. On my last lease...it was a hail storm that got me when the car was a month old. Nothing very bad, but it sure takes away that "new car smell".

heh, I got hit in the exact same spot (had a bad week last week...hit a curb, my dumb, and got hit in a parking lot). Mine's not nearly that bad, though, and the LP color helps not show the cracking. I am going to touch up the scratches for now and wait to see if any worse comes my way, lol.

Sounds way too familiar! Yep, it was two weeks new here, as well:https://www.myg37.com/forums/g37-sed...eakin-way.html

Maybe our sensors need to work in the opposite, sending out a loud audible siren when someone is encroaching! Hang in there, it will look as good as new again soon.
