2010 G37 Sedan want that coup sound
I just bought a slightly used G37 Sedan but while the dealer was prepping my car they let me drive a coupe. The main thing I noticed was the coup had a little more growl to it. I'm not sure if that is because of my location related to the exhaust or there is actually a difference in the exhaust systems all together.
Anyway, what would be the recommended way to get a little more of that coup sound out of my exhaust w/out replacing everything and would this do anything to my warranty if I replaced something? Thanks...

Tanabe will replace just the mufflers, Invidiais a full catback. Invidia took me 2-3 hours to install, only needed ramps to get the front end up. Tanabe should take 15 mins or so, no ramps needed, just a socket wrench to loosen a few bolts.
^ this. you can't get the exact coupe sound without trunk modifications. the rear section of the coupe exhaust is a totally different shape. aftermarket parts will get you closer to the sound, but you will not get the exact note without cutting notches in the floor of your trunk to re-route piping.

Be extremely careful with your '10, in this case I would get rid of it and go with a '11 or '12 instead.
If it was so addicted to the turbulent noises from a violent coup, it might as well murder you in the process if you pushed it too hard.
