Squeaky Noise from Unlocking Door

Hi, does anyone else experience a squeaky noise coming from the any of the doors when unlocking from the key fob? I believe its the lock-unlock mechanism that is creating this noise.

About 70% of time when I unlock my car using the key fob, the rear passenger door has the squeaky noise to it. I want to take it to the dealership to get it repaired, but worried that I won't be able to replicate the issue.

Thanks.

It's a common thing. The sliding mechanism needs lube. Mine is doing right now in fact and it's annoying!

The dealer should be able to do it. Just describe it and they'll know what to do.

Mine did the exact same thing. They replaced the door locking mechanism, but it returned. I ignored it for a bit, and now the noise is gone. It is annoying though!

If its a groaning sound then I have that on other cars as well.
I always thought it was a bad motor good to see it might just need some lube.

I had that, and they said even though they couldn't replicate it they replaced the mechanism anyway

Thanks for all your help!

What are some other common problems that we all experience?

From what an Infiniti technician told me, the power window motor in the driver door is a common issue that needs to be replaced.

I originally had this issue in July-August and brought it up in this forum. Many were saying it was the lock-unlocking mechanism in the doors that create this squeaky noise. My car was later brought into the dealership to get this problem fixed. The problem still persisted after the unit was replaced and I didn't have time to bring it in till yesterday.

It turns out that it wasn't the lock-unlocking mechanism. Rather it was the "fuel door actuator" that created this noise. If our fuel doors are opened by hand (not by in-cabin trigger), how was this making noise? Someone please help me make sense of this.

The fuel door locks when the car doors lock. When the car is locked, you cannot open the fuel door by hand without breaking it. It also, obviously, unlocks when the doors unlock.

That squeak could be from the locking actuator of the fuel door is what they might have meant.
