Look what the idiots at the Nissan dealer did to my G...
I'm out of town and stopped in a Nissan dealer for a $24.95 oil change.
Later, I had the pleasure of doing a quick 2 hour detail because the idiot who did the oil change was apparently an incompetent mouth-breather.
This was despite the plastic seat cover and paper floor mat.
Idiot apparently couldn't enter/exit my car without kicking my speaker cover and door panel. There was grease all over the door panel.
I had actually shampooed my carpet on Friday. 3 days later, this idiot put a nice greasy boot print on it.
Greasy prints all over the driver's door, glass, and trim. Pic doesn't quite capture it all. There was also a big greasy hand print right on the hood. Better than them using shop rags with embedded metal shavings, I guess.
I took these pics to share with the dealership management and owners, but figured I'd share here. The manager had left for the day, and I was in a hurry to find a FedEx store for an overnight package due tomorrow.
The dirt isn't really a big deal, it washes off. What pisses me off is the carelessness. If they miss small details like a huge greasy hand print on my leather seat, how can I trust them to put the correct amount of oil back in?

Wow, I should take a pic of my car after a routine service at the stealership. Trust me it's a lot worse with grease and greasy hand/footprints everywhere.

My local dealership does that all the time. However, if the service manager knew I'm bringing in my car then she would not allow this to happen. Those monkeys at the back just need to be whipped.

OP I had a similar experience at my local Nissan dealer with my old G35. Careless technician left an unwrapped Hershey bar on my dash. It was summer time and by the time I picked it up chocolate was melted everywhere. When I told the dealer and showed them, they could honestly care less. Gave me a half *** apology and sent me in my way. They didn't even offer to clean it. Last time I went to Poughkeepsie Nissan.

I didn't even bother to mention the interior......just took care of it myself.
When I saw the wheel I mentioned it was not like when I brought the car in and they offered to "take care of it" for me. I have not heard back yet.

Can't stand Discount Tire~ I specifically asked them to hand wrench the lugnuts, Luckily they have a view window and sure enough, they took out the air hammer and I ran over there and cancelled the service. I now just remove the wheels myself and put them in the back of my truck if I need any tire services. And no, not at Discount Tire

Did you show it to the service adviser? Definitely not ok!

With dealership service its hit or miss. Same service dept I have had one SA's make things right or go the extra mile while another will have a I dont give a crap attitude and put more effort into why they cant do something than just doing it.
Typically if you get a who cares vibe from higher ups I try to avoid those places because that attitude tends to set the tone for the whole place.
