different sedan spoiler

I know this is way to cheap and come unpainted but the look is different than the OEM style spoiler. Is it too good to be true?

Nope, it's true. Not an OEM spoiler, but looks like the Stillen style spoiler. I'm not a fan because you can still see the chrome piece.

What color is your car and do you have backup camera?

The fact that it covers model years 2003-2011 kinda raises a flag, may not fit as well as one that applies only to the 2nd gen sedans. Agree w/ Sniper about keeping the chrome piece, IMO the back looks cleaner without it.

That thing is pretty ugly imo. If it covered the chrome on the trunk, maybe. But since it doesnt...it looks foolish.

You've got a black G. Imagine that spoiler in gloss black to match, but the chrome lip and the lower valence area of the bumper in matte black. (I've been on a matte black kick lately, LOL)

But seriously, think about that. It could look good. Otherwise, the chrome looks weird under the spoiler. And if you painted the chrome lip body color, then it just looks unnecessarily bumpy. But if it were matte, and you had the lower bumper area in matte as well, against the gloss black...

IDK. It could work.

Um, yeah, that's the general opinion, so hop on board.

But what if it weren't chrome anymore?

That's the same style i have. It's been on the car for almost 3 years now. Bought it from "thespoilercompany" on eBay for $110 shipped, painted to match.

Definitely not for those who dislike the chrome. I'm not a fan of chrome myself, but it highlights and outlines certain areas of the car, so i'm fine with it.

Mike's G35 being silver doesn't hurt giving a pass to extra chrome.

Now what if that chrome lip were the same color as his lower bumper?

Worst photoshop ever (im holding a 6 month old while doing this), but hey it gives you an idea.

I think it looks better chrome.

Your shopped trim piece is a little jagged and a little too dark, but anyway... on this G35, I agree.

But what if the car were gloss black, like the OP's, but the bumper area and chrome trunk lid were matte black?

And no... don't try to shop that. That's nuts.
