That there looks GOOD.

Makes me wish I had a white car. But then I'd be compelled to get that diffuser, so I guess it's a good thing.

Did you have it painted gloss black?
Yes, I had it painted gloss black.

Love it. The tinted back window and the lightly smoked lenses bring it all together. Good man.

Poking fun at narcissists is like shooting fish in a barrel... which technically is still fishing, so that means everybody can eat.

Good pics, sniper. Thanks. While I don't care for the glossy look, it is a perfect line, and I do like the corners.

I'm sure it's somewhere on the forum, but can you provide a retail link, please? In not just to give me options, for anyone else going down this path.

John, from your pics it looks good, unfortunately it'll keep eating at you since it's not as clean as you expected. You'll be regretting this daily until it's up to your top-notch expectations. The vinyl comes in 60" sheets (at least the 3m 1080 does) so no need to be stretching it to make it fit. I would strongly vote against a 2 pc install, it'll be hard to make the sections seam perfectly and you'll probably end up disappointed again
I'll be eventually doing my OB in Carbon vinyl so we'll see if I end up satisfied, lol.
At any rate, I think the overall look is pretty nice, goes well w/ the white but maybe have the vinyl w/ same coverage as Snipers, that looks pretty nice IMO.

Spot-on comments, newt. How did you know this will keep eating at me? LOL!

You're right, of course. Thanks, bud.

Want to have some fun, cheesehead? Read your post out loud, and emphasize the word "I" really loud as you do it. Just saying.
That was my point. These are decisions I would make, not necessarily anyone else. I obviously can't impose my decisions on others. I was just simply stating that I can't afford to spend money like that. But that also means that I won't mod. That is all.

I'm sorry you had a subpar job done and I'm glad you're looking for solutions. In all sincerity, good luck with your ride.

It looks decent from the pics, I've been tossing around the idea of doing something similar or going with a valence as well.

I think the curved edge to edge shape of the 10+ bumpers just make it look odd to me. I'm with you on the 07-09 rear being better suited for something like this.

I think it's a smart idea to live with it for a bit like you said in order to see if you like it enough to dump more money into making it look nicer.

I can appreciate you trying to be different, but the matte black on white bumper looks kinda unfinished/cheap to me (like the old passat)
