G37xS Sedan known parts compatibility issues.

I just bought an 09 G37xS Sedan and have done quite a bit of reading about the car in the past few weeks. I have noticed that because of the AWD people have run into issues with certain aftermarket parts. I am aware of the issue that only certain exhaust systems fit on this car. Is there anything else I should be aware of? Thanks

I have an 08 G35x and so far the only issues I've came across was exhaust and coilovers. I upgraded my rear sway bar with one from a sport model and just changed the bushings.

Yea I think those FI exhausts sounds really nice but to get them shipped to the east coast they want an arm and a leg, plus they aren't cheap. Gonna have to wait a few months.

I have a stillen exhaust right now and it sounds nice but I hate the rasp it has around 4K rpm. I'm planning on getting the ARK Grip exhaust soon.

Stillen/ARK/FI (what I have) all have exhausts for the X sedan.

Stillen Gen 3 intakes fit as well. So does the Takeda, and all the short RAMs ie. RTC etc.

BC are the only ones right now with coilovers. Word is JIC and KW are working on some.

Eibach and Swift have springs.

All "standard" HFC without that extra resonance pipe (think Motordyne/ARK) will fit. I have the ERZ HFC and they match up perfectly to my FI exhaust.

Hotchkis makes front/rear swaybars too. They are great.

I also have a SPC F/R Camber Kit w/ Toe Bolt for my 09G37XS sedan. +1 on the FI HFC and CBE, Eibach Pro Kit springs, R2C Intake, and Hotchkis sways. (Also have Cusco F/R strut bars).....lots of options for the X sedan's now.

Anyone with the R2C Intake.... do you like it? Compared to Stillen? Thinking about buying one... does it bolt right on without modifications on the x Sedan?

I have an R2C. Sounds amazing, looks great (black chrome) and required no modification. I have not had any other intake so can't compare to Stillen or others.

i have the BC Coils they are awesome, also a Takada intake (the only one worth buying imo) im in a 2010 g37x
you also have to be carefull running different tire sizes as long as they are within .3% between back and front you will be good though.

I just installed the Ark Grip exhaust and the Hotchkis sways two weeks ago and can't get the smile off my face whenever I drive the car !!!
as far as bang for your buck they are the two best mods u can install.
I agree with ur opinion of the FI exhaust, they sound very similiar from the research I did, and the FI's quality may be a bit better BUT I feel Ark is definitely the better value. I got a smokin' price from jomer@ FB parts for both of my items.
Good Luck.
