Next-gen Infiniti G mule spotted testing in Sweden

I hope its not too different, I just purchased a G37x a month ago.

 

It's all the same minus the cluster cover. Probably testing a new engine?

 

You won't see any exterior styling cues on any of the cold weather testing mules. It's interesting this test G is using MB powertrain components and associated instrumentation in the current platform. After seeing the new Altima, I'll guess Infiniti is going to utilize the current FM chassis with a fresh body and new powertrains. So the new car will be about the same size as the current G.

 

When I saw the headline from autoblog on my phone I was excited, only to find out it's a current gen body testing most likely the diesel engine the US will never get. The wait for real leaks continues.

 

That is definitely NOT the next gen G-Sedan

 

Of course it's not the new body or interior. It appears they were testing a new diesel engine for the european market.

 

Unfortunately this means absolutely nothing.
