Metal clanging? Check the heat shields. I had mine removed because there was always a banging sound at a certain RPM.

yea i have Berks HFC's and mine doesn't clang but does hiss when i left off the gas its all natural so don't sweat it but when it breaks in it'll slowly go away but the hissing/rasp wont be as noticeable

I wish someone would post videos or sound clips of these test pipes but with stock exhausts

Could be the cross-bar halfway down the exhaust hitting the exhaust pipes? Although I'm not sure why it would suddenly decide to do this. I removed mine on my sedan. lol

Would it be a hassle to remove them? Also are there any disadvantages if I remove the heat shields?

So i removed the heat shields by my test pipes today and it cleared out most of the metal rattling noise. There is still a tiny bit but I think thats the nature of test pipes. Thanks everyone for the advices!
