Actually, no, it isn't. Not unless it's a SUV or a limousine. Even my wife's little Honda CR-V has tint like this, back seats and rear-window only. And AFAIK, it came from the factory like that on her Honda. Anyway, I bought the G tinted that way, almost new at 3900 miles. It was a NJ car, and the previous owner had it tinted with 3M film.

To be honest, it never would have occurred to me to only tint the back and rear windows. But I came to appreciate the unique approach, kind of VIP look. And I've never ever had issue from police. I suspect a full, dark tint in New York would be added excuse to get pulled over, particularly considering how loud the car is. But this way the cops can clearly see there's a goofy looking old gray-haired white dude driving this car. And if that's the prejudice at work here, then I'm going to take advantage of it.

On a unrelated note... the other day I had this kid in an old 3rd Gen Maxima ('89 - '94) drive by me, then hit his brakes and sidled up next to me for a while. He wasn't really looking at me, he was looking at the back half of the car. Took me a while to realize he was gawking at the 4DSC decal. Too funny!

Ahh I see. It's the same way here in NC I got tired of being stopped for tint. I finally went legal limit lol

That's a bummer about the tint. That does look strange with only the rear windows tinted- like a mini limo. It looks like 20% or darker which is illegal in most places. Here in WI 35% is legal in back and 50% for the front two, but I have run 35% all around for the last 20 years and never had an issue. I would suggest changing it to something similar, but peeling tint is a major pain and pretty much impossible on the back window without screwing up your rear defrost.

That looks very nice! Although, it is kinda weird seeing the front bumper of a 2010+ sedan without fog lights.

Yeah i was thinking the same. Did do you the front end conversion and just not bother with fogs?

Wow, like the foglight delete. Custom job?

My issues with the foglight design are
1) the housing protrudes too much (would prefer flush with mesh)
2) the foglights are too far toward the center of the car. Would be much better if they were spread further out, giving the illusion of a wider front end

I (almost) finished making my exhaust this weekend. I still have to order mufflers, get it powdered and get resonated tips. heres what it sounds like with just resonators. Don’t expect anything amazing below… lol This is my first time and I learned that building exhausts on your back and trying to tack with your eyes closed because your harbor freight mask doesn’t fit under the car really sucks a$$ lol

Underneath: (had to increase the shadows feature where the piping would show. the light sections are where I wire brushed before and after welding. pretty happy with the turn out. order some 14in round magnaflow mufflers and I’m still looking for tips.

Needs mufflers.

What are the new tips you ordered, and what are the ones on there now? They look clean and normal, although smaller than most at 3" or 3.5", right?
