aktif8, I'm definitely looking forward to a sound clip when you get those FI RHFCs in stalled with your TopSpeed system. I've heard many saying it's a bit to quiet and I want a little more sound out of this motor. It sounds too good to keep quiet.

Funny that you mentioned your Cooper S setup - I had the identical setup on mine and boy was that fun to rip around town.

I miss that car - it was raucous! I had so much work done to it - the quicksilver setup, alta intercooler, alta intake, big injectors, pulley, etc etc. Dyno'd after a custom tune to over 210 at the wheels. When it was on the dyno, I walked out of the building, and could literally hear it 3 blocks away. My wife used to say she could hear me coming home 5 minutes before I walked in!

I've matured slightly - but want something a little more aggressive. My fi cats will be here in a few weeks..I'll post a new thread when they're in.

I just discovered that top speed makes a y pipe; I crossed my fingers and ordered it, under the assumption that it HAS to sound good with the rest of the top speed exhaust knock wood!! I haven't seen a single mention / review of this piece..hopefully it's good...

I'll be putting that in along with the FI RHFCs. I'll report back soon.

The mini is a loud car for sure... I sissy'd out and had some small resonators installed close to the rear muffler to dull the noise (I had jerka$$ neighbors at the time).

Can't wait to see those FI HFCs you get installed. AND you mentioned there is a y-pipe now... that's great to hear. I'd be curious to see the quality of that. Do post pics when you receive it.

Just installed my TopSpeed exhaust and it sounds amazing; Berks HFC with Tanabe Y-Pipes, deep and throaty exhaust notes...

Sounds awesome, could you do a video with you driving off and in the cabin. I have the exhaust and love it but wouldn't mind doing the berks for the extra power if it's not to much louder inside and raspy.

The base system itself is y-pipe back for $450. For $190, you can get the y-pipe - so the whole system would run you ~$640.

There you go, nice find Jeremy, better get 'em while they're hot, otherwise they'll just be schleppin' those second rate units

Where do I find the y-pipe?
Is this a good buy in terms of quality and performance?
