That being said, I know a lot of people that have had N54 and N55 335's and haven't had any problems. I just wasn't willing to take the chance.

I agree there probably are a lot of BMW owners that have minimal problems. I had so many problems that I would have felt like a real loser if I had taken a chance and bought into another trouble prone BMW.
