Forbes puts Infiniti G at top of their list

..."Top of the list are the Audi A6, BMW 535i and Infiniti G37. They’re notable for better-than-average depreciation rates and superior reliability. Each has received an “excellent” valuation from Vincentric, the highest possible, with total five-year costs of less than $77,000."...

each model within a brand has different reliability standards. A6 may have excellent reliability record while the A5 may be poor. while I disagree that the A6 has superior reliability, the A4 does have better than average.

+1...one of the main reasons I bought the G instead of a 3 series was the reliability and past Nissan experience.

The A6 has to be a typo. Every other publication I've read says that the A6 has horrible reliability and expensive to fix and is the one Audi model to avoid.

Yep. Loved my first G (zero issues, 6 years/80k miles) and loved my Nissan truck (changed the alternator and distributor in 13 years/180k miles).

I'm hoping for more of the same with the new one.

I'm confused because it says they only looked at cars with a base MSRP over 50K, but that isn't the G37 . . .

Every German car I've owned (VW, BMW) was a blast to drive and a cash sink hole when it comes to maintenance & repairs. The G is my third Infiniti and they've all been dependable and fun to own.

The car pictured in their gallery is the G37 convertible, which does fit that category.
