The current platform is getting a bit long in tooth......a serious update is needed fairly soon. BMW is releasing a new 3 series this year and I suspect a redesigned TL will be coming out in 2014.

With the IPL G Coupe Convertible with an official release in the Spring of 2012 as a 2013 model, it would seem the 2014 MY for the G redesign makes sense. It doesn't seem likely Infiniti would release the new G (sedan) in the same model year of a new release (IPL Convertible).
