Just picked up my G37XS

Great car. Super excited. One minor issue I noticed while driving home. I'm about 160lbs 5'6" so I'm not a skinny guy but I'm also not huge. However, the sports seats (even after I stretched out the thigh restraints as far as they go) did seem a little tight. Do they give way over time or am I just not used to them yet? (I used to drive a Honda Civic before I got this and seats were almost totally flat there)

Thanks

Same size

Congrats!!

I picked up my G37S last week. I noticed the same thing. You either get used to it, or they break in. Or both. Not sure yet, but I love the seats now. Was not a big fan at first. I am about same size as you, little taller/heavier.

I love sitting back in the seat, like really sinking in, adjust lumbar support a bit, and fully inflate the seats. Feels like a pod. Amzaing how fast you can take corners and not move. It is a different world. Never again can i return to the flat seat. Less than 1000 miles on the car, and I love it.

I haven't had any issues and I have had my car for about a year. If you do a search you will find a thread regarding modification of the metal bar in the thigh booster that allows for some more room.

You should be able to adjust the seats. In my car, I have functions running along the front left side of the seat that allows me to either inflate, deflate the side and thigh bolsters...

CONGRATS!

I'm 6'3 210 - and drove the X sport - the seats killed me. hence I went with the X non-sport (w/ black grille and perf wheel package).

i have a 11 g37s 6 mt. and yes, it does feel tight. I have about 3k miles on the car and i am only slightly used to it so far. does anyone know if the dealership will remove that metal bar or make it wider?? btw, we are talking about the thigh bolsters AFTER the widest setting has been set.

I am wondering this too. I leased the car so I am not sure if I would be forced to pay for a new seat or something at the end of the lease if I bring it to a shop to get the bars removed. Does anyone know how much a mod like this would cost at an upholstery shop or something?
