anyone use plastidip on the chrome trunk lid? along with window trim? because im thinking of doing it today because i got a can of plastidip lying around but im not sure how it will look. im trying to go for a blacked out look on my car. i looked for black trunk lid/window trim pics for a OB sedan but haven't found any yet

Do a quick search you will find a whole thread on Plastidip. I for one do not understand but to each their own.

Just be careful what end result you are looking for because remember when you go cheap sometimes it ends up that way. Don't get me wrong there can be a place for plastidip with accent pieces, emblems, even guys that do there wheels but don't be shocked if your're not happy with your window trim since there is so much of it and its right up against paint. The better, but more expensive, methods would be vinyl or paint.
The upside with plastidip of course is you can just take it off if you don't care about spending the time playing with it and don't end up liking the look.

Look up cereal2k. He did his window trim because the Vert, like the sedan also has the Chrome finish trim. Turned out pretty good judging by the pictures he posted. Worst case scenario, peel it off if u don't like it.
