^^^ same question. I did this on my OEM 19's a few weeks ago and while it looks okay, i would like to make it look better since its starting to fade just a bit.
many members on here stated that adding a clear coat on top of the plasti dip will make it look horrible? maybe if i hit it with a colored top layer + a clear coat it'll make it look much better.

You must have a few layers of paint in between the clearcoat and plastidip or it will look like crap.
I just got done blacking out my Mt Fuji emblem with Plasti-Dip. Put on 4 layers, waited 15 min in between layers and an hour after the final layer. Peeled right off the paint around the emblem with no problems!
