Tanabe + Test Pipes?

Hi, I was wondering if any sedan owners are running the tanabe axle back with any kind of test pipes? I am planning to get some test pipes for my car and would wanna know approx how it would sound like. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Àre any sedan owners running with test pipes and an aftermarket exhaust system? Or maybe with stock?

I currently am. It's considerably louder than stock. The reason behind going with Invidia Q300's + TPs was to essentially make the note of the Invidia's a little louder. The current sound...isn't much of what I expected. Not too raspy, but some present. It's still not as loud as my buddy's TL-S, 335i or 2010 STI - all with aftermarket exhaust kits, obviously.

I currently have the Tanabes on my sedan right now, would adding the TPs enhance the tanabe sound drastically or maybe just a ltitle bit? As a sedan owner, would u prefer getting TPs or HFCs?

Personally, I would go with HFC on my car since they are usually a little quieter and less prone to rasp. I'm not sure exactly how TP or HFC sounds with tanabe, just expect TPs to be louder with a higher chance of rasp. Resonated TPs help this. The resonators on the invidia really do a number with eliminating rasp from TP and HFC.

Here's a couple more vids. First 2 are tanabe + berk HFC, 3rd is invidia (I think older version before resonators) with non resonated TP

I have test pipes with stock exhaust. It's a little louder than stock and raspier. But I kind of like how it sounds haha

Thanks for the help guys! I think i might go with TPs to try it out. Heres the next questions, which brand shuold i will? Im thinking about Berks, but i see like Invidia, AAM, and GTM. My budget is around $350 for the TPs.

So I've decided to purchase the Berk test pipes to complete my setup with the Tanabe axle back. I was wondering if anyone knows how long it will approximately take for mechanics to install it professionally so I have a budget for installation? Thanks!
