Question about CD player

Just joined the forum and I have a question about the CD player. I have a 2010 G37 and I am only able to insert 1 CD into the player. I read the owners manual but was unable to find anything about total number of CD's it would hold. Does it only hold 1 CD, not 6? I have had the car for 6 months and have not used the music box yet.

Standard option is a single-slot CD player. The 6-CD changer has a LOAD button to the right of the CD slot (opposite the Eject button). I was mildly disappointed when I found out mine was a single-slot only.

OK, thanks for the info malice. I tried putting 2 in a few times and all it did was growl a little and not accept it. I'm glad I didn't break anything. They definately left that info out of the owners manual. I think I'll start using the music box.

My '04 had a 6 disc changer. The new one has a single, but it also has a 9.3 gig music box and a USB port to plug in an iPod.

I use the iPod and haven't even looked at the CD player. I don't even know if it works, to be honest.

I thought the music box recorded the CD as you listened to it play. So your saying that a CD can be recorded in 7 minutes flat? Can you remove some of the songs from the music box after it records a complete CD? I think I better start getting familiar with the music box. I've had the G37 for 6 months and I enjoy it more every time I drive it...what a car.

7 minutes for ONE CD? Um. F*ck no. Why the hell would I bother wasting 1400 minutes burning 200 CD's when I already have an iPod I can plug in to the USB port?

Somebody may have that kinda patience, but it ain't me.
