Plasti dip with clear.....

I know most people are curious about the results of adding a clear coat to plasti dip. Well let me tell you dont do it!!!!!

The clear coat looks terrible with plasti dip!!!!!! And it's a pain to remove.

We own 40k cars and we are not trying to mesh them up, so i figured i'd try this on my mother in laws van... Lmao

plasti dip sells a clear coat for their products but its sold in 1gl or 5gl containers

i have pics but for some reason they dont load on this thread... If you know the trick let me know and ill post them up. :jamin:

The one w.o the clear coat looks better imo, the clear coat one looks too tacky and not clean like the other one.

double thread fail

so to repeat:

so you used plasti dip clear over the PD black?

the PD clear is matte itself, hense why it has a horrible finish

you can spray Rustoleum over plasti dip no problem.
