Good to hear.

I'd love to see some after-blend pics to see how it turned out too.

Many people view taking 2 spots as kind of a d!ck move and might inflict damage on purpose

It's a total a-hole move if not done right Anyway there are a few threads with my opinions on the matter. Lets say I would not get away with that in NY and also eyes are on my car in a private parking lot when I do it. So it depends on the situation and how far away from other cars and entrances etc.

Errr her insurance called me yesterday. Told me they wouldn't be able to look at it until Friday. Lagging.... Luckily I'm leaving in two days and won't need my car. I spoke with the body shop, they told me even with approval this Friday they'd still get it out by the 25th. (They accounted for ghetto insurance company lag time).

Why would you be relying upon HER insurance to do squat? Submit to your insurance, get it done now, and then have your insurance co and fight with hers

My insurance is in the mix already. Her insurance is providing the rental. I don't have rental car insurance on my policy.

4th time's the charm right? So my car was finished up at the end of February. I sent it back four times in order to get this car looking the way it was prior to it getting it. For some reason that seemed to be extremely difficult even if all they were doing was replacing a fender and blending.

First time it went back because the hood was not aligned and they tried to reuse some clips under the hood. They fixed it.

Second time was because some bolts on the bumper were loose. I tightened it up and had them reinspect the car to ensure it was 100% before being delivered. LoL wishful thinking...

Third time, they brought it to me and I racked the car. Well a tab on the bumper was broken and one of the lower engine cover screws was just dangling and then it was missing some bolts from underneath. They brought the car back and gave me a $50 gift card for Nordstrom for all the trouble.

Well we've been short on sunlight in Cali. Once the sun started to shine I saw the A-pillar wasn't even close to match and the bumper was a bit off. They told me they do not blend the bumper or A-pillar. I had the adjuster stare at it with me and said the car looks like **** in the sun. They blended the A-pillar. The bumper is slightly off and I may be hyper sensitive.

Everything lines up perfectly now, all the bolts I can see are accounted for and despite the fact this car went back to them four times, they were accommodating and professional. I just wish the quality was there to back up the service.

Body shop gurus: do they blend bumpers? I'll take some pics this weekend and see if it comes out on photos.

You can have bumpers blended, but its difficult because they're plastic. For the color on your car, it should probably end up pretty good.

In most cases, if you're pretty sensitive to it (and I am), the plastic bumpers of cars will *always* look slightly different.

I don't even know if they are even different anymore or if I just create the difference in my head knowing they aren't metal. It shows up worse on some colors vs others. Infiniti's white has an awful discrepancy.
