need advice on aluminum pedals

Hi Guys -

I own a 2010 G37x and love the car. I was getting the transmission TSB done a few days ago and noticed that the G37 IPl has some real nice aluminum racing pedals. i asked the parts guy if I could a set and he said they werent selling them yet. Do you guys know where I can get a set (AT) that would like nice in my 10' G37x? I had a set from Mugen in my Acura that I liked a lot before selling it.

Dave

I have not seen the IPL aluminum pedals yet, but I like the aluminum ones on the 'S' model and wanted to add them to my '10 'x' sedan.
The problem is the cost... You cannot just get a new cover for the gas pedal. You have to buy the whole pedal assembly and sensor, and that will set you back $135 (plus the cost of the aluminum brake pedal and dead pedal covers).

I'm trying to think, as I've sat in two IPLs, I don't remember noticing the pedals being different than the S?

That is correct. I have a regular 2010 G37x (no sports package). I think some nice sport pedals would look sharp but I dont think Infiniti sells any pedal covers. Ebay has one pedal set that looked okay and I guess if there are no good recommendations from this group I might go with it.

The IPL and the S are exact identical paddles. I sat in one and the paddles look the same as mine that I bought from Riverside Infiniti for $230 I think it was. Its just a sinolr plug and play. Also it comes with the side and under steering cover.

In talking with riverside infiniti the whole assembly would have to be replaced if you want the "s" type pedals..The ones pictured above are availiable but WE NEED TO KNOW IF THE 2008and/or2009 pedals are the same as 2010??(SOMEONE WHO KNOWS please answer this!!!......because there are none listed specifically for 2010 but they are listed for G35 2009..which is commonly done and as I am finding out these parts usually fit my 2010 g37x sedan
