G37 Sedan 2011

I will be purchasing a 2011 Sedan sometime in the next few weeks. I'm not planning on getting the S package because I will be changing those parts of it anyways with aftermarket parts. I do like the front spoiler however on the S which I will be missing out on and i think without it, it looks horrible. Is there a way to get the aero kit without the S package? or any other brands that fit the 2011 model?

I believe with the sedan u don't get the fun parts of an S. And that u may want to research that a bit more. Eg brakes and suspension.

Aero pkg can be added to non s.

I have aero pkg. Copy the link in my sig.

With the S Sedan, you do get the brakes, suspension, 6MT, different front, 18s, seats, etc. With the 2011 6MT you can't delete any package, it is basically loaded though you can add accessories.

I think the guy is interested in the G37S, there is no mention of G37X or xS in any part of his post.

unless you have specific parts that you want to add in place of the S package, its WAY cheaper to get the S package. i think the breaks alone are wroth the extra 2K i paid, not to mention everything else in the package!

Is it still that way for 2011? I know the 2011 xS coupe gets the brakes of the x model.

The xS sedan does not get the brakes, I thought it had changed for 2011 as well.

I wasn't a fan of the Sport seats as others have noted (stiff and narrow), and also didn't want to pay for staggered wheels over the ownership of the car. You can get the aerodynamic kit (I did) on a Journey, for instance. One thing, however, big thing, is no limited slip differential option, and of course no paddle shifters (would've been cool but I'm okay with floor mounted operation like a manual).

Drive both. Pay attention in a winding highway on ramp under moderate to heavy acceleration. The rear wheel with less weight'll be spinning in a hurry without the LSD.
